Direct Lender- Lendersa® considers a direct lender as any lender who approves the final loan and funds the loan without resourcing to other brokers or lenders.
Hard money mortgage brokers who fund loans through their exclusive group of private investors are considered direct lenders if they underwrite the loan and issue the documents and loan disclosures under their company name.
Direct Lenders could be Retail Lenders, Wholesale Lenders or Both
Lenders who originate loans package and forward them to other lenders or mortgage brokers are not direct lenders.
